Back to Active Publishers

5 thoughts on “Excluded & Defunct Publishers”

  1. As fate would have it, I just recently saw on Facebook that AFP was still active, and was planning on moving you off the Defunct list. Apologies for assuming that AFP was no more, but with only four titles published in sixteen years (if my count is correct), I think my misinterpretation is perhaps understandable…

  2. Necro Publications is back from the grave! Dave Barnett’s announcement of closure came at the nadir of his personal and professional life.
Since then his abilities in publishing and formatting gave him a great edge in producing eBooks, along with Edward Lee’s willingness to give him digital publishing rights for his back catalog. So far in 2012, Dave has 4 paper books published and plenty of digital content on the market.

  3. Thanks for the note Jim. I had noticed that Necro was publishing again, but because there was no announcement on the Necro website to the effect of “we’re back!”, I wasn’t sure if Dave was just clearing out a backlog of titles before shutting down, or if he was truly back to publishing. I’d been meaning to email him and ask, so your comment is timely. I’ll gladly remove Necro from the Defunct list and add them back to the Active Publishers list.
